The COD V1 > V2 Solution [no ETA]

The whole V2 situation has been nothing but whispers and rumours for the most part. It first got brought up back in the old discord server and at first it was just a meme. Then it actually got confirmed and was later told V1 wouldn’t be getting anymore features because of working on V2 of COD, which I think we can all agree was okay.. because who doesn’t want a new updated version of something we invest our hard earned money and time into. The promise of these cool new features and new ui made us all excited. As months went on it kinda got a bit annoying just seeing or reading snippets of what it will be with no more communication on the road map front.

Then direct made an official post about it saying basically he’s been working on it non stop and that it should be set for release at the end of summer. Like kids at Christmas we all got excited and were counting down the days, finally something to look forward to and not being left in the dark! Whilst all this is going on competitors (you know their names) were upping the game with some brilliant features. I was worried a lot of people would move to them and drop direct, so a part of me wanted summer to hurry up and come to an end. I for one don’t wanna switch providers considering I’ve been here since the start of my DMA journey and even tested the original cod chair.

Fast forward to the end of summer and we heard from the main man himself that V2 wasn’t ready and that it would need more time BUT select few people have access to it and more people will one by one down the line. Now this is where the controversy comes into play..

I don’t know if it’s down to people just gobbling the people who choose or straight kissing ass but it sure as hell ain’t the active people getting chosen. That being said it’s a pretty bad system in general because the demand for V2 is beyond belief.. for now.

So my solution is simply release it right now in the context that it’s in testing stages and we should all report any bugs on a thread to be looked at. If there’s already people actually using it then it’s clearly playable right? So why don’t we just give everyone what they want after months and months of being drip fed and blue balled. Releasing it now in beta phase would be much more beneficial to direct himself as well, much more people reporting bugs so it’s easier to fix. At the very least make it an option to download V2 and if people don’t want to they can stay on the V1 loader since both are being updated anyway.

Once again just my suggestion but a suggestion from a very passionate supporter.

I agree, it’s overdue. Had the same outdated loader while other providers have updated features and implement those features a lot quicker due to the demand from there community.

We are not racing anyone just to see who finishes first; that’s not our mentality. Direct gave a deadline that we couldn’t fulfill due to internal changes and improvements. As a result, we won’t be inviting any more beta testers. Additionally, we won’t release something unfinished. I understand that most of you want to see how it looks or use it, but everything has its time.

Has only Cod and the v2 base been worked on the whole time, or are all games being worked on simultaneously like fn, mr etc

All games are done supposedly but I can’t garuntee I’ll be around for much longer, GGs boys

Same here.i think is waste of time and money just for my key for 3 months for a product that has tons of problems, :/. Bye bye direct , boycott guys till v2 is out

Hard to get a slot for HV. I think Blurred is a good alternative (never tried it)
